A Bronze Age stone circle known as the Standing Stones of Cullerlie, and situated near Standing Stones Farm - Leuchar Moss, was excavated by H E Kilbride-Jones (1935) on behalf of HM Office of Works.

Cullerlie stone circle, also known as the Standing Stones of Echt, [1] is a small stone circle situated near Echt, Aberdeenshire. It consists of eight irregular stones of red granite arranged at approximately equal intervals to form a circle of 10.2 m (33 ft) diameter, enclosing the same number of small cairns.

Directions: Sign posted off the B9119 / B9125. Another Historic Scotland site knocked off the list! From the parking area a path via an avenue of trees leads you to the stone circle. It was nice to see that a ramp is in place to allow disabled visitors access. The great weather continued with blue sky and white fluffy clouds.
